**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The GL accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting department in processing transactions such as journals, amortizations, depreciations, and various types of P&L and BS adjustments. They are also tasked with monitoring and reconciling cleaning items, as well as maintaining account reconciliations at an optimal level using tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) or the company's systems. Additionally, this role will provide support for other projects or department functions.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Recording of accounting transactions
- Records archive
- Month end close process and support
- Support with US GAAP and statutory GL reconciliations
- Prepare diverse financial reports including local statutory related ones
- Support from the accounting side on diverse activities like VAT refunds requests or authorities audits

**WHAT WE WANT TO SEE**:

- University degree in accounting, finance, administration or related field preferred
- 1 to 2 years experience in accounting and/or in billing
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- English at advanced level

**IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD**:

- Netsuite experience is a plus
