We’re looking for a **Retention Strategist** to deepen those relationships — someone who blends creativity, analytics, and organization to turn first-time shoppers into lifelong fans.
**About the Role**
This is a highly collaborative role — working closely with creative, CX, and leadership to keep campaigns running smoothly and customers coming back for more.
- Own the full lifecycle and campaign strategy across **Klaviyo** and **Attentive** — from welcome to winback flows.
- Source creative inspiration and benchmark competitor flows and campaigns to keep Sterling Forever’s communications fresh.
- Review performance metrics weekly and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with design and copy to balance brand storytelling with conversion goals.
**Marketing Calendar, Promos & Evergreen Offers**
- Maintain the **marketing + promo calendar**, aligning launches with holidays, key retail events, and jewelry trends.
- Coordinate with **PR, CX, and external agencies** to ensure cohesive brand messaging across channels.
- Approve and test **discount codes, timer bars, and promotional assets** ahead of each launch.
- Manage **evergreen offers** — toggling live offers around promo windows, updating homepage timer bars and PDP promo boxes as needed.
- Partner with ecommerce and creative teams to ensure all promo messaging is live, accurate, and on-brand.
**Retention + Loyalty**
- Oversee and optimize Sterling Forever’s **Forever Rewards** loyalty program to increase repeat purchase rate and engagement.
- Identify and implement surprise-and-delight moments (e.g., birthday rewards, anniversary gifts).
- Analyze customer cohorts to identify churn risks and re-engagement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain segmentation strategies to personalize customer communication and drive LTV.
**Performance & Reporting**
- Report weekly and monthly on retention performance, highlighting wins and growth opportunities.
**What You’ll Bring**
- 5+ years in ecommerce retention, CRM, or lifecycle marketing — ideally in a DTC brand.
- Proficiency in **Klaviyo, Attentive, Shopify**, and lifecycle marketing best practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Eye for brand consistency and detail across creative assets.
- Excellent copy and creative instincts, with a feel for luxury and accessibility.
**Bonus Points**
- Experience in jewelry, beauty, or fashion ecommerce.
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus
- Passion for brand storytelling, style, and creating customer delight.
