As a PROCESS SPECIALIST, you will standardize manufacturing processes and operating procedures in production areas to improve efficiency, reducing variation and waste in production processes, ensuring process safety. You will report to the Operations Director. **Key Responsibilities** - Transfer technology or best practices among PPG sister plants. - Configure industrial processes from startup to commissioning and certification. - Design and implement processes and capital projects. - Improve the quality of manufactured products by promoting a culture of continuous improvement. - Participate in the solution of quality-technical problems with the products of the account in charge working with laboratory, production and maintenance personnel. - Develop and upgrade processes. - Present improvement projects at local and regional levels. - Perform engineering design calculations and equipment sizing calculations. - Manage line priorities to ensure all activity is directed according to Our goals and serve as a process technical expert for an area within the plant. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering. - 5+ years of experience in production processes related to coatings or chemical processes. - Fluent English - Technical knowledge in original finish paint functionality processes. - Operational tools, production management, inventory control, continuous improvement and troubleshooting and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access). **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
