**Healthcare Global Business Unit (HCGBU)** is a new business unit created from scratch at Oracle. HCGBU is not started from acquisitions in a traditional way, but instead, we aim to use the “startup” approach to build a clean and scalable platform and products that are at the intersection of cloud, AI and Machine Learning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Continuously test your software to fail-fast and fail-forward to ensure the best user experience.
- Define, set and enforce standards for best practices in software development.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and introduce the team to new technology trends in the industry.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a geo-distributed team.
- Take pride in owning what you build, support it in production and continuously monitor and evolve it to improve performance, scalability and ease-of-use.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent experience
- Experience working on microservices architecture, writing well-maintainable RESTful web services, and proficient understanding of git-based code versioning tools
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and the ability to carefully consider and articulate the trade-offs in your design choices
- Excellent communication skills and a team player that takes pride is one’s work, but also understands what it means to work collaboratively

**Preferred qualifications**:

- MS in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Data Science
- Knowledge of HL7/FHIR specifications
- Experience in Auto ML systems and packages
