**Descripción y Requisitos**

Accounts Receivable:
An accounts receivable professional ensures that a company receives payments for provided goods and services, keeps a record of these transactions and resolves any discrepancies or missed payments. This job covers a wide scope, making it clerical, administrative and financial in nature.

Accounts receivable's duties and responsibilities include:

- Performing general bookkeeping duties, like invoicing clients, recording cash receipts, making deposits at the bank, reconciling accounts and updating accounting software logs
- Auditing ledgers periodically to ensure that the invoice numbers and billing addresses are accurate
- Handling any special billing situations
- Maintaining accurate accounting ledgers that are in line with best practices
- Following up with past-due accounts for collections
- Keeping management and executives informed of any issues
- Answering any billing questions that clients might have
- Receiving and handling invoicing and billing-related mail
- Communicating with other department heads regularly
- Addressing any billing discrepancies
- Generating financial reports and statements that detail the status of accounts receivable.
- Data entry skills.
- Comfortable with math and calculations.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Managing accounts receivable using accounting software and other programs.
- Handling accounts receivable for separate entities and vendors.
- Analyzing workflow processes.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
- Keep customer’s arcuate reconciliation and month-end closing and reporting.
- Review and reconcile customers’ statements received.
- Maintenance A/R optimization of processes and efficiency.
- Comparing company invoices vs purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
- Assist Department & Others as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting is necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as skills.
- Fully English.
