**Operations Director - Quality & Machining**

PartsBadger procures CNC machined and turned parts from vendors worldwide. PartsBadger has begun operations in Mexico and requires an Operations Director to oversee operations.

The Operations Director will be responsible for the creation, setup and operation of our Mexico operations which includes managing production with vendors around the country, receiving and checking quality of parts, and shipping parts to the USA. The Operations Director will need to hire and manage a staff of 1-3 people trained in quality control and measurement of machined parts, secure an office in which to operate and organize all aspects of the operation.

PartsBadger is based in the USA.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Managing Vendors and Relationships
- Managing Production
- Hiring and Managing Staff
- Implementing Processes and Procedures
- Leasing Office Space and Purchasing Equipment as Needed
- Coordinating Activity with the Headquarters in the USA

**Required Qualifications**:

- Experience in a Managing or Director Role
- Experience in Quality Control of Machined or Fabricated Parts
- Experience with Measuring Equipment
- Ability to Read Mechanical Drawings
- Fluent Written and Spoken English
- Professionally Ambitious
- Independent Problem Solver
- Adaptive and Flexible
- Reliable Vehicle and License

**Preferred (Helpful but not required) Qualifications**:

- Experience Setting up Operations from Scratch
- Engineering Degree

**Compensation**:
Based on Experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
