RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be available for a 24x7 rotational on-call support scheme for production databases
- Manage the design and maintenance of databases including SQL Server, MySQL and MariaDB
- Define, execute and test database disaster recovery plans to ensure effectiveness
- Responsible for defining and administering database security for maximum data protection
- Support all DBMS environments residing on a variety of operating systems
- Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, ESX platforms
- Carry out troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and fix database issues

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Willingness to provide 24 x 7 rotational on-call support for production databases
- Capable of database technology planning, project support, and consultation
- Proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL database design, and maintenance
- Experience in database disaster recovery planning and testing
- Skilled in database security administration
- Capability to support all DBMS environments residing on Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, ESX platforms
- High expertise level in MS SQL

- Solid understanding of MySQL
- Familiarity with MariaDB
