**Accounting Specialist** Voted multiple times as best place to work and other culture awards Zeeto is looking for an Accounting Specialist (Jr to Mid) to join the Team. Starting off working and training remote this person must have both great skills and communication given the current uncertain times. Reporting to the Sr. Accountant this is a full-time position with all benefits. **Location** Remote and preferably in the United States Midwest / Central Time Zone for this role but open to other locations if it makes sense. These questions integrate with paywalls, registration forms and subscription pages. The result is one of the largest and most up-to date granular data sources in the world. We provide Real-time, on-demand data for superior results and better insights, a unique network backed by smart technology, and access to millions of consumers through our Publisher Network. **Responsibilities** - Perform Accounts Receivable (A/R) duties. - Monthly/Weekly/Daily client invoicing and payment processing - Daily recording of cash & merchant receipts in NetSuite - Closely monitor customer prepayment balances - Respond to internal inquiries from the Client Support (CS) team and external inquiries from customers. - Proactively contact clients to resolve any invoicing or payment issues. - Monitor overall collection efforts and have full ownership of weekly A/R aging report. - Perform Accounts Payables (A/P) duties. - Daily processing of invoices received from vendors, posting appropriately in NetSuite. - Proactively contact vendors to resolve any issues. - Handle weekly payment runs. - Daily/weekly review and logging of credit card transactions with supporting documentation attached. - Effective inter-company communication to obtain approvals and documentation. - Assist Senior Accountant and CFO with ad-hoc reporting, analyses, and projects. **Qualifications** - Ability to train, communicate, and work remotely (for the time being and as long as needed). - Our offices if opened again are in downtown, but we are fully capable of working remotely for the time being. - NetSuite experience required. Specifically posting of accounting transactions - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred. - Minimum 3 years experience in accounting and/or finance. - Strong mathematical and analytical skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Diplomatically & professionally communicate (in writing and verbally) with 3rd parties (clients and vendors) & internally with co-workers. - Must be friendly, assertive, and persistent, with focus on the successful achievement of the goal at hand. - Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. **You are** - Extremely detail-oriented - You are meticulous and thorough in order to drive accurate and detailed work. - Quick to adapt - You thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced startup environment. - Intrinsically motivated and resourceful - You demonstrate initiative and willingness to self-teach yourself new tools and to flex into additional roles as needed within a growing team. - A curious problem solver - You are naturally inquisitive and have strong problem solving and analytical skills. - An emotionally intelligent team player.
