ROLE SUMMARY
- As a Data Science Associate, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders in the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) organization and other organizations within Pfizer, and help drive data-driven decision-making across the marketing organization. You will be responsible for developing new capabilities including enhancing our marketing measurement and optimization frameworks and delivering actionable insights that inform and optimize marketing efforts._

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the measurement and optimization analysis of Pfizer's marketing investments via both technology and process enhancements
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing analytics capabilities with broader business objectives, fostering collaboration and effective decision-making
- Support and maintain reusable assets and custom pipelines to optimize operational efficiencies in analytics execution
- Leverage analytic techniques to provide insights on data
- Be a hands-on teammate who knows how to code in Python/R/SQL and able to communicate the results to the business stakeholders
- Handle inquiries regarding deliverables

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline with quantitative and analytic coursework in such disciplines as _STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) majors with quantitative emphasis such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering_
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- _ Technically strong with proficiency in data extraction and analytic programming languages such as R, Python, SAS and SQL as well as analytic and visualization tools such as Tableau, Data Science Studio and Excel and analytics platforms_
- _Good communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into insights for diverse audiences._
- _ Collaborative and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively_

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- _ Knowledgeable with marketing attribution modeling and marketing mix modeling_
- Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: machine learning, Bayesian statistics, knowledge of pharma datasets such as IQVIA
- _ Understanding of optimization, mathematical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data structures_
