We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced **Lead Database Administrator** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Achieve acceptable database availability and response times by diagnosing and resolving issues in a high-availability multi-datacenter environment
- Monitor database performance to identify potential issues and ensure smooth operations
- Resolve problems effectively and within appropriate timeframes during regular work hours
- Ensure adherence to audit, security, and regulatory standards
- Offer DBA support for complex software installations and upgrades, including major updates
- Uphold a strong commitment to the integrity, security, and privacy of critical business data
- Facilitate data replication, backup, and availability solutions

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of development and administrative experience with DB2 z/OS
- 1+ years of leadership experience in relevant roles
- Knowledge of SQL, including XML, triggers, functions, and stored procedures
- Background in DDL, DCL, and database utilities or commands
- Skills in database tools such as Toad, BMC, and db2top
- Experience with large OLTP databases or data warehouses
- Proficiency in Unix scripting for database environments
- Familiarity with CICS or MQ integration
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

**Nice to have**
- Competency in database performance tuning in high-volume environments
- Skills in using OEM for database monitoring and optimization
- Understanding of database security protocols and data masking strategies
- Familiarity with best practices for cross-environment database deployments
