**About the role**

The Accounts Payable Specialist performs accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

**Key responsibilities**
- Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable
records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization;
- Review and verify invoices and check requests;
- Sort, code and match invoices;
- Set up invoices for payment;
- Book expenses and process expense reports;
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments;
- Prepare and perform check runs;
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records;
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions;
- Prepare analysis of accounts;
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date;
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues;
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries;
- Assist with month-end closing;
- Provide relevant information to external and internal auditors.
- Establish and maintain work instructions

**Requirements**:

- Educational Level: Secondary vocational education+
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Excell
- Good command of English language
