The Air Operations Jr Coordinator goal will be to encourage development of the Air Operations Team providing accurate information and support related to the processes handled by the department through the production line.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administrative tasks such as paying deposits, filing contracts, etc.
- Send E-ticket receipts and work with sales to communicate itinerary changes.
- Building passive air records (itineraries) in GDS.
- Perform quality control for group and individual itineraries.
- Make group and individual reservations
- Look for best flight itineraries at lowest possible costs.
- Research costs involved with individual changes (Air Care).
- Monitor daily production queues to ensure all deadlines are met for assigned groups.
- Perform quality control for group and individual itineraries.
- Handle strong communication with airlines in order to request space for groups/individuals.
- Provide training according to department needs.

Additional tasks / projects may be assigned throughout the year.

**Requirements**:

- Proven airline industry experience.
- Amadeus GDS experience.
- Ability to work with others in a diplomatic manner.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Capability and willingness to help others reach their learning goals.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Well-organized and meticulous.
- Knowledge of geography and airline routings and major hubs.
- Knowledge of IATA rules, airline policies and procedures.
- Positive attitude and self-motivated, able to celebrate teams' success.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, uncompromising organization and attention to detail, effective time management.
- Excellent ability to follow instructions, proven ability to meet deadlines, and effectively manage large amounts of information.
- Proactively communicates and develops positive working relationships with both internal and external customers.
