We’re recruiting engineers to join our Global Technology team in Mexico City as we open our McDonald’s Global Office in Mexico. Our Mexico City Office will be a hub for technology innovation and operational support to help us build the solutions that will improve our customer, crew and employee experience each and every day.

As a Business Technical Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing and interpreting complex datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth. This role will deliver executive-level communication and analysis on an as-needed basis.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document data and analytics requirements.
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications for technical teams.
- Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business value.
- Working closely with the technical team to ensure the availability, accuracy, and quality of data.
- Participating in data modeling and design discussions to support the development of data solutions.
- Author and create design artifacts such as: Functional design specifications, source to data mapping, and process and data flow diagrams
- Developing and maintaining data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for business users.
- Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate data and analytics solutions against business requirements.
- Actively facilitate and drive requirements gathering discovery workshops
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the key business processes and systems and identify integration, alignment, and improvement opportunities
- Providing support and training to business users on data tools, reports, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborating with IT teams to ensure the proper implementation and integration of data solutions.
- Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in data and analytics to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability and flexibility to coordinate and work with teams distributed across time zones, as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, strategy, data analytics, or related fields.
- Technical/functional expertise in one or several of the following areas: technology consulting, project management or coordination, agile methodology, and/or product-centric operating model.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and peers without direct authority.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple Global stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data querying and analysis of large datasets using SQL.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database management systems.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data management principles.
