Sr. Accountant

**Position Summary**:
Harvest Tek de Mexico is seeking a self directed, experienced Senior Accountant to undertake all aspects of accounting, financial reporting and capture of inventory items for the company operations.

Oversee the month-end financial close of all job costing and reporting processes; financial planning and analysis, budget comparisons, etc. Reconciling various reports and financial data and journal entries.

Requires thorough knowledge of accounting procedures in the agriculture industry including but not limited to growing, harvesting, cooling, & transporting; Extensive Excel and General Ledger systems knowledge; FAMOUS software knowledge a plus; ability to perform in a fast paced, high pressure environment, and manage long-distance functions.

**Essential Functions**:

- Manage and coordinate the monthly close schedule
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Partner with operations to ensure accurate and timely capture of inventory items
- Assist and support the development of accounting policies and procedures
- Prepare journal entries as needed
- Assist in other projects as directed

**Required Skills**:

- Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish
- Knowledge and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, electronic mail, Google Apps, Smartsheet, Evernote and other word and spreadsheet programs.
- Strong General Ledger systems and GAAP accounting knowledge and experience
- Good communication skills and comfortable interfacing with and presenting to executive management.
- Track record of success in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High energy level with the ability to supervise, motivate and support staff and to take ownership of responsibilities.

Pay: From $4,000.00 per week
