We are building a young and dynamic team and see a lot of possibilities in the market. We are looking for a Manager who, together with the Production Manager, manages the subsidiary in San José de Iturbide.

As a team, you will guide our subsidiary in, among other things; strategy, planning, internal control and policies, external audit, investments and personnel. The other manager will focus on the production activities. Together you are responsible for the whole operation of the subsidiary.

Within this role you are responsible for the direct management and steering of our growing organization. Your main responsibility will focus on monitoring and controlling all financial and administrative issues.
- You analyze business performance and give insight in actual results. You will manage HR activities, like recruitment of new employees, developing people and reviewing HR procedures. ICT, Legal and facility management activities are also part of the job. You have an important people-orientated role in assuring a well-functioning team.

Your contribution

We are seeking a Manager Finance & HR with:

- a Master’s degree, preferably in the area of Business Economics or Management Studies
- Maximum of 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in an (international) environment
- a strong affinity with agriculture and/or seed production

Furthermore, you are a young minded, practical person with a hands-on mentality. You have good analytical skills and are able to communicate well. You have a people-oriented management style and like to coach. Your management and accounting skills are well developed. You feel comfortable to operate as an entrepreneur within our organization. Due to the international environment a good command of the English language is a requirement.
- You will be required to be at the office in San José de Iturbide (Guanajuato) on a daily basis to manage the business.

Rijk Zwaan is an international family company with a people-oriented culture. Rijk Zwaan is at the beginning of the food chain. We develop vegetable varieties and sell the seeds to growers and other chain partners all over the world. We thus make an important contribution to the world food supply.

You will become part of our Administration team at Rijk Zwaan Promex.
- This team consists of about 26 colleagues who are responsible for administration of production facilities. You will also work in collaboration with more than 230 employees at our High Tech Green houses to achieve all together the best production results, in addition to an international and dynamic working environment in which you contribute to the global food supply.
