**Tax Specialist**

**Functions**
- Extensive practical experience in analyzing methodological aspects of Mexican hydrocarbon tax regime;
- Involvement in tax compliance function related to preparation of tax returns of Mexican operational and sub-holding entities and tax reporting to SAT and partners;
- Liaising with the Mexican tax advisers on the preparation of the tax returns;
- Planning of tax implications under JOA regime and partner billings (CFDI review for tax compliance, VAT refund, etc);
- Planning of tax implications under PSC regime;
- Analysis of the transactions with related parties to comply with arm’s length principles;
- SAP and ContPaqi knowledge and skills;
- Participation in tax audits;
- Reporting all contractual and tax obligations to various financial partners and different governmental entities;
- Fulfillment of the company's daily tax obligations, making sure that taxes are paid correctly, risk mitigation and audit status;
- Preparation of the company's tax budgets;
- Involving in restructuring process;
- Advice on the interpretation of double taxation treaties in cross-border transitions;
- Preparation of the tax forms to the shareholders (CFC forms, tax questionnaires, material contingencies, etc.)
- Knowledge in SAT blacklists and 69/B FFC Laws.

**Education**
- Higher education (University Degree) in Taxation or Accounting

**Relevant work experience**
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in oil and gas industry
- Minimum 2 years of international experience

**Professional knowledge, skills and expertise**
- Extensive practical experience in analyzing methodological aspects of Mexican hydrocarbon tax regime
- Experience in the field of taxation or accounting gained from oil and gas industry and/or major international accounting firms (Big 4)
- Knowledge of taxation of cross-border transactions
- Knowledge of withholding taxes, direct and indirect taxation
- Knowledge of oil and gas taxation
- Skills in review and compilation of tax compliance documentation
- Competences in tax reporting and tax risk management
- Advising on corporate tax matters
- English - upper-intermediate.

**Software skills**
- Microsoft Office
- ERP System (SAP)
- ContPaqi

Sueldo: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 al mes
