The Principal Manufacturing Engineer adds value through knowledge engineering process; supports the stabilization and project life cycle continuously from identification to implementation and closure in terms of cost, quality, efficiency and cycle time improvement. Quick response to operations: technical resolutions, change of address, scalability, manufacturing, process development / product operations and replacement of materials. Complete projects in your workspace or suppliers to provide an uninterrupted flow of components for assembly operations, which have established instrument requirements, quality, cost and delivery times.
Can contribute unique and significant experience in the development or review of a product of significant complexity or across multiple product lines. Plans, directs, and conducts large-scale projects and meaning for the company, with full technical responsibility for the interpretation, organization and coordination of all tasks. They are mentor other professionals in the development of behaviors aligned with the standards of leadership. Manages efficiently the utilization of resources, distributes the workload to achieve a balance between goals and objectives of short and midterm. Guides and supports the development plans for the direct reports, focusing on those noted to develop experts on the area.
**Responsabilidades**:

- Managing technical projects at its manufacturing site and / or suppliers to improve the process of capacity, maintenance, instrument assembly capacity and performance of the instruments produced
- Provide technical support for the approval and validation of changes and process improvements in its manufacturing site and / or the supplier.
- Provide technical support for solving problems Quality of components
- Potentially coordinate monitoring activities in technical areas of MEST (Manufacturing Engineering Science and Technology)
- Maintain the continuity of the supply chain qualifying and validating tools through the approval procedures of the components
- Secure closure of non-conformities of the problems of the components, in addition to their timely correction, in addition to the approval of plans of control within your area or suppliers.
Calificaciones:
- Bachelors degree
- Preferable: Biomedical, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering
- English - Spanish bilingual
- Minimum 8 years of experience in product development and / or manufacturing, or equivalent experience. Experience in medical product industry is preferable.
