**About the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Loan File Review and Compliance**:
- Review all new loan files.
- Verify that all required disclosures have been issued on time.
- Identify missing documents or errors that may impact eligibility or regulatory compliance.
**Pipeline and Documentation Management**:
- Maintain and monitor an active pipeline of 25 or more loans.
- Request, verify, review, and track necessary documents according to Automated Underwriting System (AUS) requirements, investors, and regulatory agencies.
**Loan Processing and Underwriting Preparation**:
- Organize and prepare loan files for submission to the underwriting department.
- Address conditions issued by underwriters or closers, ensuring the file is complete and compliant before moving to the next stage.
**Communication and Coordination**:
- Maintain active communication with loan originators, brokers, underwriters, and other involved parties.
- Resolve discrepancies, obtain missing documents, and facilitate continuous process progress.
**Closing and Post-Closing Support**:
- Review all closing documents (title, insurance, invoices, etc.) within 24 hours of receipt.
- Assist in meeting post-closing conditions to prevent financial losses.
**Data and System Integrity**:
- Ensure that all information in the system is current and accurate.
- Set up new loans, update statuses, and ensure proper file structuring for audits and reviews.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or technical degree in administrative, financial, or related fields
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in similar roles (loan administration, financial customer service, or document processing).
- Familiarity with mortgage or personal loan processes is a plus
- Experience using CRM systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, with strong follow-up and compliance orientation.
