We are seeking a highly skilled **Network Security Engineer** with deep expertise in **VMware NSX-T** to join our IT infrastructure team. This role focuses on securing **Payment Card Regulation (PCR)** or similarly sensitive environments using advanced virtualization and network security technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain **VMware NSX-T** environments, including distributed firewalls, service-defined networking, and integration with physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Configure and manage **FortiGate Firewalls** and **NSX-T Distributed and Gateway Firewalls** for traffic inspection, rule enforcement, and threat mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with internal and client SLAs through effective incident management, documentation, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure network architecture in PCR-compliant environments.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Mandatory**: Hands-on experience with **VMware NSX-T**, including micro-segmentation and firewall rule enforcement.
- Strong understanding of **network security principles** and **virtualized network infrastructure**.
- Proficiency in **FortiGate Firewall** configuration and management.
- Solid grasp of **network protocols** and **architecture design**.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Certifications in VMware NSX-T, Fortinet, or other relevant technologies.
- Experience working in **regulated environments** (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for network management.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,001.00 per day
