Sr. Workplace and Uc Engineer

The Senior Engineer will assist with the design, development, implementation and support of AstraZeneca IT Infrastructure technology. Working under guidance of more senior employees, the role holder will be involved in analyzing requirements, implementing components of solutions as well as supporting solution enhancements and maintenance, which may require a close collaboration with third party suppliers. The Associate IT Infrastructure Engineer will adhere to the established AstraZeneca lifecycle methodology and practices. This may include maintaining program libraries and technical documentation of individual components within solutions.

You must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to take a leading role in a dynamic IT project and support team supplying industry-standard technology solutions across the globe.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Administration and support for the Colaborations tools in the office 365 platform ( exchange, one drive, teams,SharePoint) Box, docuSign, Adobe Sign, Unified Communications.
- Good networking knowledge (TCP/IP, OSI Layers).
Good knowledge in Active Directory
MS Teams support, deployment, migration & configuration experience.
Good understanding in Hybrid environment (Lync online/sfb online).
Sonus, Cisco and other voice solution deployment, configuration and support.Develops technical expertise and shares knowledge as required with project teams working on the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of IT Infrastructure Operations solutions
- Provides support in reviewing technical designs and ensuring adherence to the AZ Architecture Roadmap, Information Services Strategy and High-Level Designs, as well as regulatory requirements and standards
- Assists in the preparation of business cases, Request for Proposals, supplier selection and evaluation of proposals
- Assists more senior employees in defining infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with the target benefits and value expected
- Assists in the design, development, configuration and documentation of infrastructure components
- Performs maintenance and support activities, routine analysis and evaluation on resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or expand service levels
- Supports investigations of problems within existing solutions utilizing ITIL V3.0 principles

**Essential** Skills and experience**
- Strong knowledge in Unified Comunications
- Prior experience in an Information Services/Information Technology environment with good business acumen
- Experience of dealing with 3rd party suppliers
- Evidence of designing, testing and maintaining solutions
- Experience of sharing knowledge/ information and implementing any changes
- Well versed in ITIL V3.0 practices and process
- Good communication skills supporting joint working with geographically remote colleagues
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with AZ business
