Summary
Responsible for estimating supplier lead times and cost information based on defined rules when information is not available to enable sales price and lead time to be quoted. Must be able to analyze production drawings and local supply chain needs quickly and accurately making fast decisions on when to go outside the Global Quotation Support Team.
Job
**Responsibilities**:
Understand and interpret manufacturing drawings in order to estimate supplier lead times and cost information based on defined rules when information is not available to enable sales price and lead time to be quoted.
Utilize experience with various manufacturing processes to determine costing.
Responsible for defined communication between Global Quotation Support Team and Supply Chain, Distribution purchasing and Expert Network.
Responsible for reviewing, quarterly, cost estimations and accuracy levels and presenting findings to Global Quotation Support Management.
Adhere to lean processes and KPI requirements set by the Cost Estimation Process Manager.
Cross train within Global Quotation Support to be able to support Material Master Data, Price Estimation and Technical Support

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Training**:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, certification and technical abilities.
**Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in purchasing, supply chain, global procurement or engineering
Extensive experience with PDM system.
Extensive experience with Pool for Tool.
Experience working with machine and parts drawings for spares and wears.
Experience working in manufacturing purchasing/engineering a plus.
Experience working in the mining, engineering or construction related industry.
Extensive experience with Metso products.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
Capability to articulate and communicate topics within the area of expertise to all levels of the organization.
Understanding of customer needs and requirements.
A high level of computer skills is essential - CAD, Excel, Word and Power Point.
**Strong operational performance**: Cost and performance vs. set KPIs, industry standards and competitors.
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress and meet the deadlines.
**Language skills (written, listening and oral)**: English (mandatory).
Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-language atmosphere.
Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several tasks at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks, decision making and working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills
Minimal travel during project execution phase may be required.
