What you will be doing:
Responsible for managing the day-to-day execution and communication of physical and digital brand marketing strategies for the Beauty brands.
- Responsible for creating monthly calendars of social media.
- Follow-up on the monthly SM and PR reports and review investments.
- Support the launching of new products in LATAM with influencers and media plans.
- Develop annual marketing plans in conjunction with sales team input to support initiatives in the top 5 clients.
- Gather and present internal and market research data to support marketing plan development.
- Collaborate with internal team to brainstorm all elements of the marketing plan.
- Monitor competitive activity and industry trends and offers insights to support business objectives.
- Analysis of the Mexican market and competition for sales (twice a year).
- Dominance of OBI and competitive analysis (reporting of net sales).
- Work closely with the US team to implement strategies and plans for appliances in LATAM.
- Participate in the NPD process from concept inception through market introduction and local initiatives to drain inventories.
- New Item Set up and follow-up of the creation of new codes in oracle system for LATAM.
- Monitor and coordinate the development of new products.
- Constant contact with the sourcing team in China for the process of development of the new products, approval of the samples and costs.
- Assist with the artwork and development of new projects in LATAM and forefront with the US team.
- Provide materials in a timely manner for LATAM to ensure the placement of new SKU's: pricing, updated sell sheets, delivery of samples, banners, instore materials, artworks, planograms).
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
- Excellent follow-thru, detail oriented and hands on approach to proactively managing and directing multiple projects simultaneously
- Curious and passionate about the category
- Passionate about social media
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
- 2+ years of proven marketing experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Oracle and project management programs
- Confident and articulate in the English language with the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing concepts and consumer behavior
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure in LATAM markets/Multinational companies
- Managed at least 1 direct report (trainee / intern)
