**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS**
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of customers
- Knows the cutoff times for trains and proactively works with team members to seek routing changes that increase profitability.
- Monitors orders to be sure that the most cost effective way to move a shipment in a timely manner is provided to our customers by all team members.
- Monitors origin - destination pools to ensure that volumes are continuously managed.
- Monitor storage reports.
- Communicates issues clearly with team members and takes required action to resolve issues
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve problems using root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.
- Advanced Transportation knowledge including advanced geography, military time knowledge
