**Company Overview**:
Telcoin is a global fintech and blockchain-based financial services provider delivering affordable, user-owned financial products to mobile network users. With operations in multiple countries and a growing regulatory footprint, Telcoin aims to make decentralized financial tools accessible to underserved markets. We are now preparing to expand operations in Mexico and are seeking a local General Manager to lead this effort.

**Role Overview**:
The General Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing the day-to-day operations of Telcoin's entity in Mexico. This includes overseeing all aspects of the business, from local office setup and regulatory engagement to financial oversight and team leadership. The role demands a strategic operator who can act as the company's lead representative in Mexico, ensuring alignment with global priorities while executing locally with precision.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish and oversee the operations of Telcoin's Mexico office.
- Serve as the company's primary representative in Mexico, ensuring coordination with global leadership and strategic alignment.
- Manage local regulatory matters and maintain strong relationships with authorities and partners.
- Oversee financial performance and compliance with local accounting and tax requirements, in partnership with Telcoin's global finance team.
- Lead local hiring and manage a small operations team, promoting a strong, compliant, and mission-aligned culture.
- Implement company strategies, launch plans, and processes tailored to the Mexican market.
- Coordinate closely with Telcoin's legal, compliance, product, and executive teams to support product launches and maintain operational readiness.
- Provide regular reports on progress, risks, and performance to the Global COO and senior leadership.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior operational or general management role, ideally in fintech, telecom, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of the Mexican regulatory landscape and experience engaging with local authorities.
- Solid background in financial oversight, compliance, and team leadership.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Resident in Mexico.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and highly autonomous environment.
