TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

**About the role**:
**Responsabilities**:

- Serve as our leader to ensure strategic value is identified and delivered for your commodity(s) plus your focus responsibilities to exceed customer expectations
- Proactively coordinate with necessary team members to identify and realize leverage opportunities within your strategic scope
- Serve as a/the key Sourcing interface to cross-functional teams (our customers) - e.g. Engineering, Purchasing, Operations. Represent Sourcing in cross-functional coordination and projects (regular and technical) as a permanent team member
- Be an active member of the Sourcing team to drive enhancements and contribute to our performance success
- Actively identify, investigate and on-board new suppliers.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives
- Develop relationships with internal partners to improve our customer service and identification of voice-of-customer (VOC) improvement opportunities
- Report Sourcing performance to internal customers and leadership
- Develop and improve Sourcing processes

**Qualifications**:
Minimal Qualifications
- 5-7 years’ relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Quality.
- Proven Negotiation experience
- Experience with operational concepts (Kanban, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, VA/VE, Lean)
- Customer-first mindset
- Creativity, curiosity, energy

Desired Qualifications
- Automotive or electronics industry experience
- SAP experience
- Experience in team-based environment in multiple locations
- Audit and/or Blackbelt experience
- Project management experience
