**INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DESCRIPTION**

For us, an internship is more than just checking a box. It's about learning and developing your skills and exploring your curiosity to figure out what you like or want to do next as you launch your career. You won't be getting coffee for your manager; you'll be given tools to learn alongside your team and work on relevant projects that make a difference on college campuses.
Some of our most senior leaders came-up through our program and have continued to make a mark because of our collaborative and supportive culture. Our 16-week **paid** program will allow you to share ideas with our executives, develop your professional brand, and live the #ellucianlife.

**Where you will make an impact**:
We are looking for an intern interested in automation to help our Banner team with the following activities:

- Plan and conduct basic unit and module testing
- Create automated smoke and functional tests for batch processes
- Work on assigned stories and other technical activities with direction by more senior members.
- Collaborate with scrum team and/or immediate supervisor on a regular basis for direction of priorities.

**What you will bringL**
- Studying a Degree in computer science, software engineering or similar course of study
- Experience in Grails, Java/Core Java/J2EE, SQL
- Experience working with XML, HTML
- Experience working creating Docker images and Docker Containers
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
- Experience with Agile software development practices such as XP, Lean Agile, Scrum, and Kanban

**Bonus**:

- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Postgres.
