The Case Coordinator will act as a key liaison between clients and the legal team, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and empathy are critical for this role.
**Compensation**:
$21,000 month MXN to start
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct client intakes, gathering essential information for immigration cases, and maintaining accurate records in the firm’s case management system (CMS).
- Collect, organize, and verify client documentation to ensure complete and accurate case files for submission.
- Collaborate with legal teams on case needs, including Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and Denials.
- Follow up with clients regularly to provide case updates and gather additional information or documentation when needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of immigration filings to USCIS and other relevant legal bodies.
- Support administrative tasks related to case management and assist the legal team as necessary.
- Participate in process improvements to enhance client intake and documentation procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with clients and legal teams, ensuring clarity and understanding in both languages for accurate case preparation and client service.
- Associate’s degree in a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred to ensure the foundational knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of immigration processes.
- 1-3 years of experience in case management or administrative roles, preferably within a legal or immigration setting.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential to ensure that all case information is accurate, and deadlines are met. The Case Coordinator must be able to effectively convey complex information to clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational abilities are critical for managing multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring that all documentation and client files are well-maintained and easily accessible.
- Interpersonal skills, having the ability to build rapport with clients, helping them feel supported and understood throughout the immigration process.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software to ensure the efficient handling of documentation, communication, and case management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity, handling cases that involve highly sensitive personal information, requiring strict confidentiality and ethical handling.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, which requires adaptability, the ability to manage shifting priorities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with legal teams to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
