**Fluor & Energy Materials**, an Orbia business, is looking for a **IT Business Relationship Specialist**to be based at **Mine Las Cuevas, San Luis Potosí, México**

**Job Summary/ Purpose**

Will serve as the business-IT liaison to ensure technology solution / service requirements are clearly defined and prioritized to address local statutory and market demands with the company’s business units throughout the country. Also assists in conveying the technology vision and alignment to maximize the benefits of technology across our IT portfolio.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Understand the needs of the business, translate them into IT initiatives, build an operational / tactical roadmap and track it to ensure delivery excellence.
- Influence and convince business stakeholders to adopt effective, best-in-class solutions to meet their evolving needs
- Be a trusted advisor to business stakeholders to track KPIs/metrics for IT services.
- Understand and support business strategies.
- Ensure business-IT delivery excellence and customer satisfaction through various iniatives across our IT portfolio
- Liaise with IT colleagues within the company to ensure consistent best practices are leveraged and maintained
- Ensure a disciplined usage of corporate documentation tools and IT processes. Contribute in the setting of those where none currently exist

**Minimum Qualifications**
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT or Industrial Engineering is required.
- 5+ years of IT and business/industry work experience including deep expertise in the areas of mining and chemical
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams or projects and influencing medium level management and key stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms is a plus
- Requires exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
- Advanced English

**Knowledge/ Experience Required**
- Understanding of key business-IT KPIs/metrics, and the ability to track and present them to business stakeholders
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and technology in chemical and mining businesses
- Broad spectrum IT knowledge and experience.
- Awareness of business-IT industry trends, with a particular focus on transformation technology
