- Respond and resolve customer issues within Key Performance Indicator targets.
- Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new products.
- Ensure the timely completion of planned proactive tasks and Customer Requests.
- Owning and resolving problems and managing customer expectations throughout the life cycle in accordance with global standards.
- Working towards, adopting and contributing to new support / diagnostic processes and tools.
- Be available to work in 24x7 capabilities if an escalation requires flexibility in work schedule.
- Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in an analyst or engineering-related occupation.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of software development experience
- Core Java/J2EE technologies preferably Spring, Microservices experience
- Experience in an Agile/SDLC development environment
- Understanding of architecture and design principles.
- Experienced in Databases (SQL or no-SQL) technologies
- Knowledge of standard build and deployment tools
- Experience in automated testing and continuous integration
- Firm grasp of fundamental web/internet technologies
- Desire to build innovative products using cutting-edge technologies

**Responsibilities include**:

- API design and implementation
- Partner with the development, cyber security and architecture team to enforce best practices for all aspects of systems development including requirements, design, build and testing/validation
- Create technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs per written specifications
- Build / improve client relationships through proactive communication and 1&1 meetings
- Proven ability to work with a project team to develop a strategy, technical solution, and ultimately to implement high quality technical solutions
- Familiarity with enterprise software deployment and release processes
- Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proven ability in the Installations and Release Management process

**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

As a Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer*s IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client*s site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should have knowledge of some Oracle products and one platform that is being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from senior engineers and management and, in some areas may work independently.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis, while constantly achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction is essential.
