_**Important metal-mechanic company, is starting its plant in Apodaca, looking for a EHS Engineer.**_

**OBJECTIVE**:
Develop, implement EHS programs to prevent and correct risk and healthy conditions on this matter. Prevent and protect environment measures for a properly accomplishment with City, State and Federal Mexican regulations, laws and alignments. As well as the international certifications and regulations.

**JOB SUMMARY**:
EHS Engineer is responsible for studying, analyzing, implement, executing, and takes appropriate measures to follow up on Environmental, Health and Safety plan in accordance with national and international regulations on this matter.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Obtain and update operating permits with the different government institutions.
- Communicates to all employees the policies, internal procedures and government regulations.
- Make sure to have day to day all the provisions, rules and regulations according to the Mexican Regulations for Safety and effect of preventing accidents, as well as preventive and corrective measures according to these legal norms.
- Manage, monitoring and maintain the chemical inventory, transportation of hazardous/Non-hazardous waste, safety footwear, and other safety equipment and safety programs for accomplishment with requirements of the regulations and laws on environmental matters.
- Constantly review providing correct medications, and curing materials, essential to provide timely and effective first aid. As well as providing the necessary medical care in case of accident contingency..

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong Knowledge in: Mexican Regulations of Safety and Social Mexican Institute Law (IMSS), PROFEFPA, SEMARNAT, IMSS, STPS and ISO 45001:2018.
- Builds appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with employees and line managers.
- English (Business level).
- Communicates well both in writing and verbally.
- Experience developing work team.
- Proactive, analytic, dynamic, service attitude, problem solver, responsible, team work., honesty, leadership, work under pressure, tolerance.
- Desirable been involved in a working multicultural environment.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- A bachelor’s degree in related field.
- English (business level).
- Metal-mechanic or automotive turn.
- 3-8 years of experience.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Domain in the implementation and monitoring of the Mexican labor law, Mexican Regulations of Safety, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, IMSS, STPS, ISO 45001:2018, fluency communication skills, conflict solver, ability to work under pressure.
