**Homeroom and Team Teacher Opportunities**
At Welfare Institute, we break away from traditional education to foster student-centered, curiosity-driven learning. We are currently seeking dedicated and bilingual educators who are passionate about creating meaningful classroom experiences and committed to continuous professional growth in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
**Homeroom Teacher (Minimum 2 years of experience)**
- Lead a homeroom group with confidence and consistency.
- Design and implement effective lesson plans for diverse learners.
- Maintain strong communication and positive relationships with families and staff.
**Team Teachers (At least 1 year of experience with young children (teaching, internships, service, or camps))**
Support lead teachers in planning and delivering lessons
Collaborate actively in team and school-wide initiatives
High energy, creativity, and strong classroom presence
Open to relearning, unlearning, and growing
Comfortable working in a collaborative, non-traditional setting
**_ Full English_**_ fluency (spoken, written, and reading); Spanish is a strong asset._
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field._
- Valid teaching certification or license._
- Experience with progressive methodologies (e.g., Inquiry-Based Learning, PBL, IB)._
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in Education.
- Training in Readers & Writers Workshop.
- Apple Certified Educator.
- Experience with co-teaching models and the Reggio Emilia approach.
- Strong background in classroom-based instruction.
