Application Services Support Engineer

Who We Are

The Role

Be an extension of development teams to harden products.

What You’ll Do
- Provide 24x7 On-call support on a rotational basis and effectively diagnose / triage / fix systems during outages.
- Application performance tuning, outage troubleshooting / triage, short term / long term fixes
- Work closely with other Application and development teams to provide detailed information for product improvement.
- Create tools for standard triage; stack dump, centralized logging; to support defect resolution.
- Ensure design, infrastructure, process/operational documentation is up to date.
- Facilitate production deployments.

What You’ll Bring
- Strong affinity to automate repetitive tasks, learning out processes that drive down outages and deliver quick results.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of software development and IT infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-related technologies. Experience with ticketing systems and support tools. 2+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably as an Application Services Engineer or a similar role.
