**Job Description**:
The Senior Director, Market Access Mexico is responsible for the company strategic and tactical leadership required to successfully drive present and future product portfolio market access
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:_
Country Sales- Ensure the achievement of sales vs. target of Gilead through: sales fulfillment, optimal inventory levels, contracts completion and tactical initiatives in all accounts nationwide- Drive sales accuracy vs budget and LEs, on a monthly basis- Manage effectively inventory levels at all customer levels (distribution centers, hospitals, clinics) by monitoring, recording and reporting their efficiency
Distributor Management- Drive sales forecast alignment with S&OP to ensure product availability, based on udget and Les.
Access and Pricing- Drive access and pricing strategy for all TAs and ensures excellence on implementation- Obtain formulary codes for all Gilead´s products in all institutions, including HMOs and private clinics- Develop price strategy for all channels in all TAs (private, decentralized and public) and get global approvals
HEOR- Develop and drive value propositions for key products, including patient access programs
People Management- Drive team´s career and support development plans, to achieve country objectives, according to Gilead Values and behaviors
Teamwork & Customer Service- Exemplary cross-collaboration with BUDs, Finance, Public Affairs, Government Affairs and Policy, Regulatory and Legal/Compliance and other internal stakeholders- Develop and maintain productive networking with key external and internal stakeholders- Proven ability to craft an effective and efficient market access strategy empowered.- Lead Access local team to implement an efficient Market Access Strategy.- Ensure timely and accurate dossier submission to the Institutions IMSS, ISSSTE, Seguro Popular and Decentralized Institutions; track timelines to secure we obtain Institutional access and National and Institutional codes and label updates. Improve accuracy of health Institutions inventories by monitoring, recording and reporting their efficiency- Demonstrated ability to assemble key stakeholders and lead all immediate and long-range planning associated with national business
Field work- This position requires to spend ~60% of time in the field.- 40% travel domestically and internationally.

Education & Experience:
- 7-10 years’ experience in a similar role in a biotech/pharma fast-paced environment and 10 years of Government sales experience.- Experience in the biotechnology or specialty care pharmaceutical- Proven experience and expertise in Government relations, negotiations with government institutions, Tender processes and institutional budget allocation & Reimbursement.- Desirable experience handling a BU and managing a P&L- Strong knowledge of federal and state payer system.- Master’s degree desirable.- Fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English is mandatory.
