Overview:Xylem is seeking an Indirect Operational Buyer with strong Excel skills and knowledge of Coupa (preferred) to support procurement operations. This role focuses on managing indirect requisitions, purchase orders, supplier relations, and procurement compliance to ensure efficient and compliant buying processes.Key Responsibilities:Convert purchase requisitions (PR) to purchase orders (PO) and obtain Global Category Manager (GCM) approvalProcess indirect requisitions ensuring use of preferred vendors and contract pricingDispatch POs to vendors and update them as needed based on vendor changes or cancellationsResolve product or service issues related to indirect purchasesGuide business users on preferred suppliers, contracts, and compliant procurement channelsReview and approve new vendor creation requests based on business casesCoordinate with logistics teams to manage shipment of indirect goodsSupport maintenance of supplier catalogs, PIR updates, and contract loading in collaboration with site teamsUpdate supplier matrix under category manager direction as requiredAssist the Coupa helpdesk with invoice reconciliation, including follow-up with buyers and accounts payable for approvals and discrepancy resolution, focusing on PR to PO matchingProvide weekly reports on key procurement KPIs to support performance trackingQualifications:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reportingExperience with Coupa source to pay platform is a strong plus or similar platformSolid understanding of indirect procurement processes and supplier managementExcellent communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendorsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills
