Reports To: Sr Manager, Marketing & CommunicationsCollaborates With: Creative Team, Product Team, Marketing Operations, Influencer Partners, U.S. Field TeamsLanguages: English + Spanish (Bilingual required)OverviewElektra Go is seeking a bilingual Social Media Manager & Content Creator responsible for managing social media strategy, producing content, developing content calendars and supporting marketing initiatives across all channels. This is a performance-driven role within a fast-paced, agile, start-up environment, where social content and influencer execution must directly contribute to tangible business outcomes. This role owns our influencer program execution and acts as a hybrid content strategist, creator, writer and social media operator. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, thrives in a lean organization, moves quickly, adapts to shifting priorities, and understands how to build content that not only resonates culturally with the U.S. Hispanic audience but also drives measurable growth for the business.Key Responsibilities | Position OverviewDevelop and manage social media strategy, content calendars and creative execution across all platformsProduce bilingual photo, video and written content that drives awareness, engagement, installs, sign ups and transactionsOwn and manage the influencer and GoPromoters programs end to end, including relationships, deliverables, content quality and performance reportingLead all day-to-day community management including responding to comments and messages, protecting brand reputation and escalating issues appropriatelyWrite and develop multi-channel content including blogs, emails, push notifications, SMS, PR materials, thought leadership articles and in-app messagingManage the unified content calendar across social, lifecycle communications, blogs, PR and engagement campaignsTrack, analyze and report on content and influencer performance to inform strategy and improve outcomesCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, creative and operations teams to support campaign execution and ensure aligned messaging across channelsContent Creation Social Media & Other ChannelsWrite SEO-optimized blog content that supports acquisition, education and organic visibilityWrite performance-driven email, push, SMS and in-app copy for both acquisition and engagement communicationsCreate bilingual social media copy for posts, captions, scripts and short-form storytelling aligned to performance goalsDevelop social-specific creative briefs for content, campaigns and influencer deliverablesProduce and refine social content that aligns with cultural relevance for U.S. Hispanic audiencesWrite and support internal communications and public relations materials including press releases and thought leadership articlesManage the unified content calendar across social, email, push, SMS, blogs, PR, campaigns and in-app messagingEnsure consistency across all social channels by adhering to brand, voice, tone and compliance guidelinesWork with the Creative Manager to establish social media style guides, community management guidelines and response frameworksContinuously optimize social messaging based on performance insights, audience behavior and platform trendsInfluencers OwnershipOwn the influencer program operationally and tactically, including business case development and oversightManage day to day influencer and content creator (UGC) relationshipsDefine deliverables and manage timelines for all influencer and creator partnersCoordinate asset delivery, approvals and content quality with project management and other stakeholdersMonitor and interpret performance of assets to make real-time decisionsDevelop consistent performance reports that include actionable insights and key performance indicators working with the analytics teamRecommend new creators, niches and content styles based on performance insightsMonitor performance against projections to adjust approach accordinglyCross Functional CoordinationCoordinate with Marketing Operations to ensure timely communication deliveries of organic contentCollaborate with design, creative and product teams for content needsIdentify risks, timing gaps or content delays proactivelySupport campaign execution with aligned social, organic and/or campaign messaging across all channelsServe as secondary backup for marketing operations to build and send communications from various in-house platformsRequired Qualifications5+ years of social media experience with a proven track record of channel growth tied to business performanceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related fieldWritten and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish with strong storytelling skills in both languagesExpertise across mainstream and emerging social media platforms, with a personal social presenceExperience producing social content for consumer brands including copywriting, design and video productionExperience managing influencer programs (micro and macro) and content creator workflowsExperience writing performance-driven content for blogs, PR, lifecycle messaging or multi-channel campaignsStrong mobile-first video editing and design skillsHighly creative, detail oriented, organized, proactive and able to operate autonomously in a digital environmentIdeal CandidateExperience with direct-to-consumer apps, financial services and/or fintechDeep understanding of content performance, engagement levers and conversion-centric storytellingAble to operate as a hybrid strategist–creator–copywriter–social operatorThrives in a lean, fast-moving start-up environment with strong agility and speed to marketNaturally curious about industry and platform trends with a proactive approach to competitive research and idea generationExperience working within highly regulated industries preferredStrong
