As an International Operations Accountant, you will sit within the International Accounting team, where your responsibilities will include all aspects of external payments, the general ledger, and month-end close for our International entities.

What You Will Work On
Responsible for the timely and accurate entry of accounting operations / payment settlementsProcess, reconcile, monitor, and resolve any issues with payment to external vendorsWork with Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of paymentsCollaborate with our internal product and operations team to enhance processes for accounting operations and payment settlements Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statementsManage account analysis, reconciliations and various accounting schedules as part of the month-end close processCompile and analyze large volumes of data for reportingAssist in implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed according to GAAP principlesProvide support during the annual auditAssist with special projects, as needed and perform other duties as assignedHow You Will Do Your Work

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role with strong understanding of accounting principlesProficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and EnglishA highly analytical self-starter with the ability to resolve problems independentlyMust be detail and results-oriented with an ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environmentAbility to evaluate priorities and multi-task accordingly while keeping others apprised of status with respect to deadlines; exhibits accountability and ownershipAbility to see existing processes, find their true value and make them more efficient and valuable to the businessInterest in learning new processes and implementing the latest technology in a fast paced, data driven environmentBig 4 public accounting or public/private company corporate accounting experience a plus; Tech industry experience a plusExperience with large datasets a plusCPA or working towards completing a CPA a plusPrevious experience with Netsuite or other ERP systems a plus#LI-HC2
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
