This role would be serving the Global Shared Services’ Finance team.

This role will be based out of our DNV Mexico City office. 

What You’ll Do

Overall responsibility to monitor the A/R aging portfolio for Mexico. Daily contact with clients regarding AR balance via telephone and email to inquire payment status. Provide copies of invoices to clients. Close cooperation with the Credit Control Manager, Station Manager, Key Account Manager (KAM)/Project Manager (PM) to secure payment of old balances and proactively involving other DNV units and resources as necessary.  Follow plans and strategies for collecting debts. Registration and maintenance of all detailed communications with clients in the A/R System. Registration and follow up of disputed invoices in the A/R System. Biweekly meetings with the Credit Control Manager, Key Account Managers (PM) and Station Managers. Monthly reporting on A/R for Regional Management.  Registration of payments in the AR System and follow up of proper booking. Use of OnGuard, Oracle and PowerBI.  Communicating unusual account situations to management. What is Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Administration, Accounting. Minimum 3 years of experience in collections. Good knowledge of the Mexican Tax Legislation regarding Electronic Invoicing Systems in Mexico. Proficient working with MS Office software. Expertise working with and other accounting systems. Good at negotiating, being persistent and patient skills. Ability to demonstrate good performance while working under pressure and meeting. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. We conduct pre-employment background screening.

What is Preferred :

Prior experience in back-to-back collections. Good knowledge in Payment Complements. Proficient in systems like Onguard, Oracle or PowerBI.
