An opportunity of development supporting the whole supplier Quality management process in LA. A position that requires close connection with different teams and stakeholders in the 4 BU in LA, looking for Quality preventive approach to protect our consumers and brands
How you will contribute
You will be the point of contact for multiple internal and external locations on quality related topics, ensuring products meet design, food safety and quality policy requirements. In this role, you will support R&D to design products, specifications and capabilities to bring consumer-inspired quality to life.
You will promote Supplier Workshops & Capability Building in LA region
Support Quality Management pillar in LA
Support Procurement and other related areas on any issue involving quality from supplier or on supplier qualification
Perform technical visits on suppliers Partner with Global Supplier and Auditing Teams to guarantee audits execution and properly address any needs from all the 4 BUs from LA
Support new projects involving suppliers in connection with R&D teams Tracking KPIs and CAPA (corrective and Preventive actions) of LA suppliers, looking for digital improvements.
Guarantee Food Fraud and Contaminants Monitoring program execution
Identify, report, monitor and direct corrective and preventive actions associated with quality KPIs, and partner with cross-functional internal and external business partners (R&D, regulatory, marketing and manufacturing) to meet our quality agenda. In addition, you will lead regional quality programs; share best practices among manufacturing sites through quality benchmarking; manage special situations and early warnings with respect to plant investigations, root-cause analysis and follow-up to protect Mondelēz International and our consumers, and; be an ambassador, driving quality and sharing expertise with colleagues to ensure that quality improvement becomes an instinctive culture across the business.

Related experience in operations, quality and/or R&D Knowledge of quality systems (HACCP, ISO9001 and FSSC22000) Microbiology and food safety assessment and sanitation experience Handling multiple tasks and prioritize Communication and leadership skills on cross-functional teams Statistical processes and problem-solving techniques Business acumen and influencing and negotiating Customer focus Dealing with ambiguity Priority settings Organizational agility University degree in quality management, food technology/chemistry or engineering/ bioengineering IL6S methodology and QM pillar processes (desirable) Auditing certification or equivalent experience is a decided advantage Knowledge of Science and Food Technology, Basic Food Legislation understanding English Advanced No Relocation support available, however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
