The position and your daily adventures
We're currently looking for a Product Manager. to work with our Credit team, to own and develop our Credit lifecycle process, including but not restricted to Credit core engine and Collections processes.
This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we will expect to see you in the office 2-3 times a week.
What you can expect:
- Develop a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and our internal stakeholders
- Develop a deep understanding of our product and our processes
- Build a roadmap with the local tech team and stakeholders to deliver both new features and improvements for our customer onboarding processes
- Take ownership of OKRs defined within the product team on a quarterly basis.
- Deep dive into new topics and become a domain expert for our customer support and operations tools.
- Gather, Structure and Communicate Requirements.
- Help develop and define a vision to empower our internal teams with technology to bring the best service ever to our customers.
- You have 4+ years of experience working at a startup (a fintech is a plus) or in an equivalent high growth and regulated environment
- You have 3+ years of experience in managing products with complex varying stakeholders and sources for requirements (Users, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, etc.), experience in fintech products or internal tools is a plus.
- You have experience as a Product Manager with a particular focus on Credit lifecycle, repayment user flows and collections operations
- You are able to drive design discussions with groups of 3-5 cross-functional stakeholders.
- You are familiar with working with data, and use data insights to inform your decisions.
- You are able to write concise requirements, documents, and communications.
- You are able to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- You are able to develop empathy for people in other markets and economic situations and are able to abstract needs accordingly and document these in writing.
- You understand how a modern technology stack works, microservices, API’s and event streams are not new words for you.
- You have experience in working with engineering teams and know how software is built and where the complexity lies. You understand that small things can be big things sometimes.
- You have a bias to action and can solve problems by yourself. You are able to dig in the technical weeds yourself, understand technical documents, and can retrieve data even without someone providing you a shiny user interface.
- Fluent/Proficient in English. Spanish is a big plus.

- You have a university degree or equivalent practical experience ideally in a technical field.
