We’re looking for the next Culture and PR Sr. Manager. A passionate leader with a creative mind; a disruptor with a real passion and flair for brand building through the eyes of culture, generating the right strategies to embed our spirits portfolio into Mexican culture, crafting the big, giant brands of the future in this market. The person should be a big problem solver but passionate about outstanding execution, a true leader, able to influence boldly - in and outside - the organization, crafting the trends with whose our brands will lead talkability and advocacy among the alcoholic beverage industry.

Responsible for leading a team and our portfolio cultural strategy for Smirnoff, Baileys and Tanqueray integrating outstanding thinking around PR, but also the social and traditional media landscape, connecting multiple touchpoints through an omnichannel business-oriented vision. Delivering the strategy and execution, in close collaboration with the brand, media, e-commerce and multifunctional key collaborators, plus external agency partners to build leading initiatives that consistently deliver category and brand growth.

Top Accountabilities

Shape Smirnoff, Baileys and Tanqueray strategy around culture, to deliver strong impact for the business in Mexico. Generate a strong vision to build at scale cultural plans and consumer experiences, being so relevant to drive heightened advocacy and talkability (both from earned media and social media). Identify and maximise the right cultural spaces crafting the narratives, to integrate and join up with brilliant brand, media (earned, owned, and paid) and e-commerce plans. Lead the agenda in setting the right cultural partnerships (agencies, content & media, owned and sponsored events, brand advocates & influencers) building a solid ecosystem around our brands different touchpoints, to create relevant multichannel connections with consumers at scale.

Required Qualifications
 

7+ years’ experience in Experiential Marketing, PR strategies confirming that you have created breakthrough strategies (and results) by building brands in culture (music, sports, film, entertainment, fashion, food, drink, art and/or design). You are constantly curious about consumers, having a deep understanding of the consumer behavior and culture in Mexico. A strong teammate who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Always ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done. Great interpersonal and communication skills. Able to demonstrate strong relationship building and influencing skills across functions​. Skilled in developing customer and partner dedication, negotiating for win-win outcomes with a diverse range of individuals. Preferred qualifications: Experience on handling crisis management protocols and brands.

Diageo as the category leader, we must keep growing the landscape with new products, by winning in new occasions and to cause breakthrough growth with brands like Johnnie Walker, Buchanan's, Don Julio and Smirnoff. Expansion Innovation Manager will be in charge of capitalize new trends in vodka, gin, liquor and rum categories.

Top Accountabilities:

Analytic profile to generate insights and recommendations by data analysis. Project Leader, with highly organized & able to prioritize to guarantee every day great execution in all Innovation Plans Deliver Efficient and Breakthrough Marketing to become a valuable recruiting machine for the organization. Holistic Performance management, ensuring all plans (Marketing and Sales) are implemented brilliantly, driving desired brand and sales results. Pipeline planning in order to develop an 18 -24-month innovation strategy Key Partners Influence to keep its portfolio in the map into a growing organization.  From Local Exec to Global Teams... from Agencies to multifunctional team management (Supply, Finance, Innovation, Marketing and Sales)

Qualifications and Experience Required

Marketing experience 5+ as Brand Manager and Innovation Roles. Proficient Numerical Skills. Consistent record on building valuable insights that unlock growth. Rigorous project handling and required experience on P&L management. Confirmed resilience and ability to build positive relationships quickly across functions. Strong sense of Ownership and a Self-starter approach. Able to lead the conversations that the business requires navigating a clear path forward even at times of ambiguity.
