Social Media Manager

We are looking for the next Social Media Manager of the Mexican office.
The main responsibilities are:
- Collaborating with key team members across various departments (account, paid media, project management, creative) to deliver the highest quality social media deliverables, proposals and insights
- Serve as key social media contact for clients across multiple projects and provide first-class service in reaching their campaign goals and triaging needs specific to social media
- Is proactive and resourceful in meeting department needs and creating opportunities for incremental projects/growth. Can “sell” with confidence internally and externally
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of social media related work across client projects, ensures that all deliverables are polished and without error prior to being reviewed internally or going out the door to clients.
- Is up-to-date on the latest digital/social platform developments and informs team & clients proactively about necessary changes to stay compliant and how to leverage exciting new tools when applicable
- Provides strategic guidance on social media to clients on an on-going basis; is very comfortable and confident in giving informed opinions around the social landscape.
- Knows how to manage a team and taps agency resources as needed to deliver great value to clients
- Facilitates development and delivery of all value-added requests for social media
- Has global knowledge of client and brand initiatives, also has a grasp on client competitors

Requirements:
The ideal individual for this role will have a deep understanding of the social media landscape and all necessary components of the practice to move projects forward with multiple key stakeholders. This individual will have a proven track record of helping lead a team (2-5) effectively amidst competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. They will have polished communication skills and confidence in their knowledge of the space. This person will work with our key clients in Mexico, and very closely with core team members in NYC.

- Projects optimism and calm in the face of challenges
We’re looking for required skills, and they can come from any combination of education and experience. Diversity of thought and background are encouraged. Typical qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Team management experience
- Agency & social marketing/managing experience
- Fluency with social management software (Sprinklr, etc.)
- Comfort with Microsoft office suite/Outlook
- Demonstrated track record in building strong client relationships and delivering programs that exceeded anticipated results
