The Apps Sup Tech Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Responsibilities:

The Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst is responsable to partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identify and define necessary system enhancements; analyze existing system logic, identify problems; and recommend and implements solutions. Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards; documents requirements. Partners with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals. Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements Considers the implications of the application of technology to the current environment. Identifies risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options. Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work. Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services. Persuades and influences others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills Performs other duties and functions as assigned Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Acerca del empleo:

Analista Técnico Especialista en código de BD con enfoque aplicativo. Este rol es responsable del soporte técnico en Tecnologías de BD SQL Server y Oracle a equipos de Aplicativo L3 y asistencia de INC productivos. El recurso será responsable de coordinar implementaciones a los objetos de BD, configuraciones, cambios de infra, para mejorar el rendimiento de las BD productivas, correcciones, con el objetivo de prevenir y reducir INC productivos. Diseñará estrategias de monitoreo y alertamiento para cambios de infraestructura de alto impacto como: VTM (parcheo), migraciones de BD, actualizaciones de OS, cambios performance, procesos de alto impacto de reconciliación de negocio, escalamientos, Incidentes mayores, etc.

Automatizará procesos enfocados a BD para dar mantenimiento preventivo, alineado a los procesos internos, así mismo negociará con los equipos requeridos. Desarrollará soluciones innovadoras y scripts/paquetes automatizados para implementar mejoras al desempeño de las BD. Debe ser experto en materia en todos los Sistemas de BD y periféricos. Dará asistencia a investigaciones y resolución de MIM’s. Deberá actuar siempre alineado a los estándares y procesos de la compañía, además de proveer soluciones consistentemente alineadas a las políticas.

Deberá adherirse a las políticas corporativas en todas sus responsabilidades diarias. Será socio directo de equipos de Desarrollo de Software, Administradores de Base de Datos y Testing con el objetivo de mantener un fuerte enfoque en el cliente para impulsar su satisfacción.

Job Decription:

El especialista de Soporte de Base de Datos para Aplicativo tiene alta responsabilidad para prevenir y reducir eventos productivos con fallas relacionadas en tecnologías SQL Server y Oracle, asistiendo cambios en BD, en sincronía con los equipos de Tecnología de Desarrollo de Software e Infraestructura. En general, deberá aplicar sus experiencia como especialista de BD, para identificar mejoras y asegurarse de que sean implementadas en producción sin impactos negativos, mejorando los tiempos de respuesta a los aplicativos de negocio. Diseñará la estrategia de monitoreo y alertamiento efectivo para minimizar el impacto en producción, así mismo, resolverá y atenderá incidentes de manera eficiente.


Responsabilidades:

Resuelve problemas complejos de Tecnologías de Base de Datos SQL Server y Oracle, a través del análisis y con base en su experiencia técnica, realiza análisis completo de identificación de causa raíz y da soluciones integrales para evitar nuevas incidencias.Realiza escalamientos adecuados para prevenir eventos negativos en producción.Participa activamente en actividades de implementación cambios de código, configuraciones, que busquen la reducción de puntos críticos en las BD.Es indispensable tener conocimientos de Infraestructura, procesamiento interno de BD, resolución de peticiones, transacciones en las BD. Así como explotación de objetos de sistema de BD para tener métricas, estadísticas que permitan la correcta toma de decisiones.Experiencia en migraciones de BD y sistemas operativos, así como Directorios Activos.Amplio conocimiento en programación con los “Best Practices”, además de lógica avanzada de entendimiento de código para mejorar rendimiento de objetos. Conocimiento en comportamiento y diseño de índices para mejorar tiempos de respuesta de procesos masivos de actualización, inserción, lectura y cálculos matemáticos.Buen entendimiento de procesos de infraestructura, para prevenir impactos durante pruebas CoB, implementación de VTM, Failover, migraciones de Versión de manejador de BD y SO.Reúne, compila y sintetiza información relacionada a procesos de BD, así como el impacto al cliente para presentar a Dirección.Propone soluciones integrales desde su perspectiva técnica para mejorar la satisfacción de los clientes.Analiza y comunica resultados de prueba a los equipos de proyecto; recomienda el curso de acción adecuado. Brinda estimados precisos y correctos por la duración de la tarea asignada y el trabajo, junto con el nivel de confianza y dependencias previsibles. Controla proyectos en forma continua, evalúa el progreso y la calidad, gestiona riesgos/problemas, y tomar medidas correctivas según sea necesario para cumplir los plazos del proyecto.Actúa como asesor y mentor para los miembros júnior del equipo. Resuelve una variedad de temas complejos a través del criterio evaluativo y el pensamiento analítico. Diseña métodos de capacitación a equipos de Tecnología para el correcto funcionamiento de las estrategias que propone.Muestra conocimiento integral de varias áreas dentro de las pruebas de TI y buena comprensión de la industria. Evaluar adecuadamente el riesgo cuando se toman decisiones comerciales, demostrando una consideración particular por la reputación de la empresa y protegiendo a Citigroup, sus clientes y activos, al impulsar el cumplimiento de las leyes, las reglas y los reglamentos correspondientes, acatando la política, aplicando un juicio ético sólido en relación con el comportamiento personal, la conducta y las prácticas comerciales y escalando, administrando e informando los problemas de control con transparencia

Calificaciones:

Entre 6 y 10 años de experiencia en análisis comercial o análisis de sistemas.Capacidad de usar eficientemente técnicas complejas de resolución de problemas, de interpretación y análisis.Habilidades de diplomacia y comunicación requeridas para guiar, influir y convencer a otros.Capacidad de trabajo bajo presión o con deadlines definidos.Habilidad para organizar/administrar múltiples prioridades y proyectos junto con la flexibilidad para adaptarse a cambios en un entorno acelerado.

Educación:

Licenciatura/título universitario; preferentemente maestría.Experiencia en mejores prácticas para la gestión de datosExperiencia en DBMS relacionales (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, PostgreSQL y otros) y bases de datos no relacionales (MongoDB, HBase y otros)Experiencia en el manejo de sistemas operativos (Windows y Linux).Lenguajes de programación (PL-SQL, T-SQL, Power Shell, procesos ETL)Fluidez en inglés y español.
