Are you passionate about innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence and the future of ambient computing? The Amazon Alexa team in Mexico is looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager with the right blend of creativity, technical expertise and communication abilities.

The Sr. Business Development Manager will source, drive, and build relationships at scale with leading consumer brands, media companies, agencies and content creators loved by customers. The person in this role will work closely with partners to develop engaging experiences that enhance Alexa-powered devices and services to better assist customers in their daily lives, from entertainment to household management and personal productivity.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to develop relationships with C-level executives. This person will also have the technical understanding to problem-solve and drive initiatives across all stakeholders, including working closely with our AI product and engineering teams, both internally and with partners.

This is a senior role that will be required to think strategically about business opportunities, product roadmaps and technology trends, and mapping the intersection of partner needs and Amazon Alexa priorities. Come join us as we work hard, have fun, and shape the future of ambient AI experiences

Key job responsibilities
- Define strategic account plans for third-party companies that provide content and/or experiences through Alexa powered devices.
- Build and manage executive and working-level relationships with large, multinational companies.
- Define and negotiate agreements including technical, commercial and marketing commitments.
- Execute partnerships to ensure that agreed contractual terms and obligations are met in a timely manner by both sides.
- Align partner activities with internal marketing, product, legal and engineering teams.
- Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior leadership updating on progress and roadblocks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
- Proven account management skills and track-record of building and managing relationship at executive level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Experience negotiating software and services agreements
- MBA
