The Role: 

In the newly formed role supporting LATAM region and Travel retail, you will manage visual merchandising across all activities planned on our distribution calendar including product launches, new store openings and animations/activations in region. From initial creative concept to implementation, collaborating with key stakeholders of Travel Retail and regional/global teams of Charlotte Tilbury. 

Key outcomes include designing exceptional Charlotte Tilbury customer experiences through NPD updates and animation pop-up, within budget, on schedule and meeting operational requirements specific to the retailers in region.

Role Accountabilities:

 

  • Lead Charlotte Tilbury’s brand codes across all LATAM/Travel Retail VM elements, expressing the strength of the brand aesthetically and commercially.

·      Work closely with regional/global teams to implement the Global creative Charlotte Tilbury strategy across LATAM

  • Beginning to end, full project management, from creating the best design, maximizing brand expression in a new store, monitoring creative development, to technical drawings, approvals, tracking and managing spend costs, and opening schedules.
  • Design innovative windows and animations from concept to execution
  • New launches and in store execution is delivered on time, in budget and to brand standard across all retailers in region

·      Listen to and develop a deep understanding of local consumers and generate new insights to inspire the beauty industry

  • Review and approve manufacture drawings for design integrity, retailers requirements and safety standards.
  • Adapt all graphical design to the regional needs, using the global guidelines and applying these to each retailer, managing the translation process and executing appropriately

·      Attend regular meetings with wider teams to ensure a collaborative working relationship with cross function teams

  • Ensure a compelling customer experience by constantly improving the visual merchandising within stores and maintaining interest through innovation. Identify areas of value engineering, sustainability and material specification
  • Develop and nurture relationships with all key stakeholders- Internal departments/ Regional managers/ Key retailers/ Key suppliers/ Global team
  • Leverage strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects at one time and deliver all projects are delivered on time with production and delivered to store for launch

·      Create presentations/concepts/ design proposals

  • Organize, update, and archive all project documentation in line with existing filing system.
  • Effectively communicate via verbal and drawing skills; understand and tailor presentations to the audience.

·      Raise PO’s, receive and keep track of invoices, control expenditure of any orders placed for each individual project. Update and manage the regional budget

Manage databases and distribution lists for campaign launches

Requirements

·       Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related visual experience wholesale and retail, beauty industry a plus

·       Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in design

·       Project Management: Proven ability to prioritize projects and meet strict deadlines.

·       Software Proficiency: Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Rhino/3D programs would be a plus. proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

·       Project Planning and Management: Excellent project planning and time management skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.

·       Design: Creative mind with an eye for detail, who can deliver commercially, accurately and effectively. Produces high quality work and a resourceful problem solver.

·       Balancing Priorities: Ability to balance design with operational needs and budget objectives to create exceptional instore environments and customer experiences.

·       Team Collaboration: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

·       Language Skills: Spanish speaking skills are preferred.

·       Communication: Skilled in visually, verbally, and in writing communicating design issues.
