Worldwide Industrial Trading is a company founded in 2007 by a group of Mexican entrepreneurs, aware of the need to reuse raw materials in industrial processes. Primarily focused on the recovery of refractory bricks, refractory concretes, and, in general, products resistant to high temperatures, to give them a cleaning and grinding process.

We seek the recovery of materials and aim to ensure the highest possible quality consistency. Additionally, we strive to supply these raw materials to our customers regularly, as per the market's demands.

Our main objective is to digitize the buying and selling process by creating the first industrial marketplace, connecting raw material producers in China with manufacturers in the USA.

Mission

Purchase (National and International):
• Sourcing and Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential national and international mineral suppliers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with them.
• Market Analysis: Stay updated of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain dynamics within the mineral industry. Conduct regular market research.
• Purchase Order Management: Generate and manage purchase orders with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet delivery deadlines.
• Quality Control: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team in China to establish and maintain quality standards for minerals
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as geopolitical issues, market volatility, or supplier reliability concerns. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks

Logistics (Imports)
• Customs Compliance: Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth and compliant importation of minerals. 
• Shipment Tracking and Coordination: Monitor and track the movement of shipments from suppliers to warehouses. Collaborate with freight forwarders to optimize shipping routes, reduce transit times, and minimize costs.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Manage all import-related documentation, including customs declarations, shipping documents, and certificates of origin. 
• Warehouse Management: Oversee the efficient storage and retrieval of minerals in warehouses. Implement best practices for inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet operational needs.
• Transportation Optimization: Work closely with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and methods, balancing cost efficiency with timely delivery.

Payment to Suppliers:
• Invoice Verification: Review and validate supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed-upon terms. 
• Payment Processing: Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments.
• Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with payment terms and negotiate conditions outlined in supplier contracts. 

B2B Industrial Marketplace Development:

  • Platform Optimization: Work closely with IT and development teams to optimize the functionality and user experience of the B2B industrial marketplace connecting mineral suppliers in China with factories in the USA. Implement features that enhance user engagement, streamline transactions, and provide value-added services for participants.

Profil

  • Technical, University, or Related Degree to Logistics, International Business or others

  • Located in CDMX or Monterrey, México

  • 2-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Transportation, Logistics, or Administration.

  • Business English writing skills.

  • Highly organized individual with strong internal communication skills.
