We are currently seeking an experienced Insulation Field Engineer to join our team. As an Insulation Field Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing insulation projects on construction sites. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the successful installation of insulation systems and compliance with specifications, codes, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Review documentation submitted by insulation Subcontractor to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct site walks to gather necessary data for project planning and execution.
  • Monitor and document project progress, including daily reports, material usage, and quality control checks.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to insulation crews, ensuring accurate interpretation of project documents and adherence to project specifications and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, piping and mechanical disciplines, management, and the client to address technical issues and ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Develop work packs and plans to maximize productivity and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insulation field engineering or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of insulation systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulations related to insulation.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction-related software.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of safety and risk management practices in construction.
