**About Nisolo****About the Role**Nisolo is growing rapidly and we are scaling our team to meet the growing demands of our business. The primary responsibility of the QC + PD Manager role is to manage the quality control of our raw materials + finished goods and act as our 'eyes and ears' on the ground in Leon, Mexico.**About You**- You are deeply experienced in quality control of leather raw material and finished goods- You understand the needs of both a brand and suppliers/ manufacturers and are able to propose a path forward diplomatically and with both in mind.- You keep things simple and strive for daily excellence, yet are continually improving service levels.- You are an expert at knowing, setting, and hitting service levels and measuring & moving Key Performance Indicators for manufacturing and production. You know what excellent looks like and you lead teams there.- You conduct your work proactively identifying fires, bottlenecks, opportunities, etc. and actively propose and enact strategies to overcome/avoid pitfalls.- You are an excellent written and verbal communicator in English.**Responsibilities**- Own quality control inspections at tanneries and finished good manufacturers in Leon, Mexico.- Ensure quality tolerances across raw materials and finished goods are in line with Nisolo's expectations, escalating any risks or differences within the accepted tolerance levels.- Maintain clear records of quality control for both raw materials and finished good inspections.- Foster and maintain supplier and manufacturer relationships. Ensure all vendors are on boarded to Nisolo's processes and standards and that a clear understanding of production processes & nuances between vendors is maintained.- Drive strategic initiatives supporting the businesses growth and key initiatives.**Who you are**- Minimum of 5 years professional work experience in leather quality control and finished goods.- Clear and consistent communicator.- Self-starter who is able to zoom in on details and out to focus on strategic initiatives.- A strong written/oral communicator, used to escalating issues and providing a data-based solution.- A solutions-focused leader with a love for process implementation and fast growth- Proficiency with Excel and/or GoogleSheets including data manipulation/organization.- Ability to work independently and thrive in a very fast paced environment that requires continual multi-tasking and prioritization.- Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver.- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.- Strong English written and verbal skills**Compensation**: Based on previous experience and expertise.**Location**: Leon, Mexico
