**Your team responsibilities**- MSCI ESG Research, part of MSCI LLC, is seeking to expand its Americas Client Coverage Team with a commercially driven and motivated individual with a project manager mindset and keen interest in environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing. MSCI ESG Research is a fast-growing business and our clients span through some of the world’s largest banks, hedge funds, pension funds and asset managers.- In this exciting and dynamic environment, Onboarding Managers work directly with clients across all market segments. The Onboarding Manager will work together with internal teams and the client from pre-sales to deal close and onboarding: managing all logístical aspects of data requirements and delivery. Being organized and open in communication during the onboarding project is key. The role requires working with the client throughout the whole onboarding process - which results in a solution in which our ESG products are integrated into the client’s investment process. The Onboarding Manager will specialize in competencies such as understanding and being able to advise on data delivery platforms and workflows around it, will be required to have knowledge of the data services and offerings. Our ‘Here For You’ Employee Assistance Program is available for our employees globally, providing confidential emotional support, financial and legal advice free of charge.**Your key responsibilities**- Take full responsibility and accountability for managing client onboarding projects from initiation to seamless transition into operational service- Present onboarding services during pre-sales and contract negotiations with clients and make recommendations on best practice of onboarding processes in order to maximize the likelihood of success- Prepare and present clear and detailed project plans and solution definitions that comprise all deliverables- Understand, analyze and consult with Technical teams on technical aspects of the client workflow- Organize resources required and establish milestones and timeframes internally and with clients- Coordinate internal and external effort to complete all planned tasks and resolve all unplanned issues- Communicate project status/issues/risks via appropriate media at agreed frequency- Report on project status on a regular basis with all internal and external stakeholders efficiently- Identify and communicate risk factors that might delay a deliverable or threaten effective project completion- Escalate issues and risks to project stakeholders in a timely and effective manner- Define success criteria, establish and manage reasonable expectations, internally and externally- Prepare internal and client project deliverables during transition to operational service- Follow onboarding best practice and create best client experience during the project**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**- Knowledge in ESG & Climate, and the regulatory landscape- Bachelor’s Degree in a financial related major is required- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must- Experience in client-facing role in the financial services industry- Superior communication and time management skills- Business and organizational skills- Knowledge of and experience with a variety of data platforms and software- Excellent in team-work and collaboration- Self-reliant, detail-oriented and a fast learner**How we’ll support you**- Our culture of high performance and innovation relies on our people sharing their knowledge and lifting each other up.
