Operating Company: OrmcoLocation: Mexicali,Baja California,MXDate Posted: September 18, 2024Req Number: R Under indirect supervision, coordinates a group of workers responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of the building, both internal and external.Internally assigns work to staff so that the plant is always clean and presentable.- Hires external services for plant maintenance.- Supervises the work of contractors who come to work within the facilities.- Hires various policies for building maintenance (fumigation, gardening, fire extinguishers, plumbing, sanitary facilities).- When required, changes the structure or decoration of certain plant facilities.- In coordination with the purchasing department, quotes and selects from among several suppliers various supplies that are required for building maintenance.- Applies internal policies and the Internal Work Regulations in his/her work area.- Applies sanctions, if warranted, to his/her staff. From a verbal warning to a suspension of days, depending on the severity of the violation.- Administers his/her workers' permits and vacations according to the needs of the area.- Reports any personnel movement to Human Resources, using the internal personnel movement form.- Applies evaluations according to the internal procedure, based on the list provided by Human Resources.- Reports on the same day, the employees who will work overtime, using the internal overtime form.- Has at least one daily meeting with his/her staff to manage the work day or see another matter of relevance to the work area.- Maintains constant communication with his/her staff.- Keeps his/her immediate boss informed of any situation in his/her work area.- Maintains constant communication with the second shift. He even comes periodically to check the operation of the second shift machines and on weekends.- Fosters a collaborative environment through Envista’s CIRCLe values.**Job Requirements**:- Professional, preferably Industrial Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.- Knowledge in Corrective, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.- Experience of at least 5 years in Maintenance and/or Engineering areas.- Knowledge in metal-mechanical processes.- Desirable English at 75%**Operating Company**:OrmcoOrmco is a global leader and innovator of high-quality orthodontic products and solutions, including brackets and wires.
