International architecture and engineering firm recognized as one of the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms in the U.S., is looking for **Sr Civil Engineer **to work for diverse projects in Mexico and US.**Responsibilities**- Makes decisions independently on engineering problems, practices, and methods and may create and refine unique design solutions. In the case of a licensed staff member, acting as a lead project engineer, this includes but is not limited to, the stamping/sealing of one's drawings/documents as well as drawings/documents done as the professional in "responsible charge" as defined by the applicable statute of jurisdiction.- Represents the firm in meetings and conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate a project.- Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs a medium to large engineering project or a number of smaller complex projects with overall responsibility for budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.- Responsible for acceptance or rejection of major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.- May serve in chosen discipline as a staff advisor or consultant in the role of technical specialist requiring highly, specialized knowledge and skills, and the use of advanced techniques.- Supervision and guidance related largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, policy matters, and/or unusual problems and developments.- May supervise, coordinate, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project.- Defines project scope of work and organizes into manageable tasks.- Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments including Site Geometric Layout, Site Grading, Stormwater Drainage (Hydrology, Hydraulics)- Utility design including Sanitary Sewer and Fire water.- Provides supervisor and project manager with scope of work change warnings.- Takes part in client contact and business development activities.- Meets with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree as Civil Engineer or similar.- Minimum 8 years of Design experience- Fluent English- Civil engineering design (i.e., Sanitary Sewer, Stormwater Drainage, Site Geometric Layout, Fire water. etc.)- Understanding and skills in assessing a customer’s requirements/needs in the field- Advance Civil 3D is required- Effective communication and problem solving skills.- Ability to work in a cost-effective, customer-focused, team-based environment- Collaboration, teamwork, agility, quality- Ability to follow through in a self-motivated fashion.**Additional information**- Gross salary reference: 45K - 50K monthly- Base residence: Leon Office / hybrid work- Employee value proposition: work on global projects and multicultural teams, global career, etc.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 al mesHorario:- Lunes a viernesPregunta(s) de postulación:- ¿Cuál es tu experiência en proyectos relacionados a naves industriales y edificios comerciales?- ¿Cuál es tu experiência de diseño en ingeniería civil?- ¿Cuál es tu nível de dominio del sistema Civil 3D?- ¿Cuántos años tienes de experiência de diseño en ingeniería?- ¿Cuál es tu nível de inglés? ¿Puedes mantener conversaciones fluidas en dicho idioma?
